Be able to respond to calls during days, evenings and weekends (work hours permitting)
Submit to and pass a physical examination conducted by the fire district physician including drug screening
Submit to random alcohol and drug testing and comply with our zero tolerance, code of conduct, and ethics policies
Submit to and pass background and criminal screening conducted by the Board of Fire Commissioners through investigative agencies such as Nassau County Fire Marshal, Law Enforcement, and NYS DMV
